临时抱佛脚

发音：lín shí bào fó jiǎo 

释义：原意为年老信佛，以求保佑，有临渴掘井之意。后因称平时无准备而事急时仓猝张罗为“临时抱佛脚”。 

出处：唐·孟郊《读经》诗：“垂老抱佛脚，教妻读黄经。”
